Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, “Han Cholo” Jewelry grew within the sub culture of Hollywood’s music and art scene. Created in 2003 by Local LA designer Brandon Schoolhouse and Parisian Jeweler, designer and gemologist Guillaume Pajolec. After graduating from High School, Brandon decided to pursue playing music in bands around the Los Angeles music scene.  Brandon then started working for the Beastie Boys @ there “Grand Royal” studio and offices.

During that time, Guillaume was working as the jewelry production manager at Chrome Hearts and was involved with bikers and surfers…previously he became a Graduate Gemologist, a gem stone faceter and a jewelry designer certified by the Gemological Institute of America in 1987….

While working at “Grand Royal”, the Beastie Boys Record Label, Brandon learned to DJ, and thus Brandon’s alter ego, Han Cholo, was born. After several years working for the Beastie Boys, Brandon parted ways with Grand Royal, and made his name by becoming a Wardrobe Stylist. Styling for music videos, album packaging, editorials etc. Brandon would design and create his own style of Jewelry for his clients and jobs. Brandon and Guillaume met in 2002 and decided to collaborate on some designs together that got them to develop further into a partnership of the Han Cholo Company. Guillaume Pajolec, has designed and produced for Chrome Hearts, A&G, Lucien P, American Biker, Harley Davidson, White Trash Charms and many more…

In 2003, Brandon and Guillaume founded Han Cholo Jewelry line out of Guillaume’s garage/studio… 

As Han Cholo jewelry is so greatly influenced by Rock N’ Roll, Science Fiction, Fantasy Art, and the Hip Hop Culture, the line has become the “it” accessory among Hollywood fashionistas and celebrities alike. Fans of Han Cholo include: Brad Pitt, Gwen Stefani, Jane’s Addiction, Snoop Dogg, Nas, MF Doom, Christina Aguilera, The RZA, Black Eyed Peas, MSTRKRFT, The Osbourne’s,Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beck, Paris Hilton, and many others…  

Han Cholo has also done custom and private label work for companies such as: Disney, Mattel Toys, Boost Mobile, AMP Energy Drink, X Box, the HHGL Awards, Hot Wheels, Coop, The Oscars, The Grammys, MTV Awards, Diamond Supply, Burton Snowboards, Kat Von D, X-Large, Puma Shoes and many more.
